Hi, I was wondering if somebody could help me out with this. Recently, I purchased a My Gamer's Club Unlocked Membership for two years, and when asked for a phone number at the register, I gave my house number. The house number is tied to my father's account, but he no longer uses it and would like to have me take it over. I already changed the account email, phone number, and shipping address to have my name on it, but the account name itself remains unchanged since there is no option to do so when signed in. Is it possible to change the account name to my own instead of my father's? And if he contact you guys will that help. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Unfortunately My Best Buy Accounts cannot have their ownership transferred to other individuals, so assisting with changing the account holders name is not something we’re able to assist with. I do apologize that this isn’t something we’re able to assist with, and going forward once your GCU Membership expires we recommend creating a new account in your name.
