Hi, I brought the gamers club in-store and I'm trying to connect it into my online account. I bought it during black friday and seem that the cashier put it under my friend's phone number when we were checking out. Just wondering if i can connect the gamers club to my account since i bought it in-store or do i have to go to the store to fix it.

Welcome to the forums and thanks for posting. There unfortunately appears to have been some confusion over how the GCU Membership works when it was purchased, which I can certainly clarify and advise you on.
At the time of purchase the GCU Membership is linked to a new or existing My Best Buy account. If your friend’s phone number was entered at the register, the GCU Membership would be permanently linked to their account, making them the Membership owner. I do apologize for any confusion and inconvenience, however, transferring or linking the Membership to your account is not something we’re able to do.
To add a GCU Membership to your account you’ll need to either purchase one via online activation with your My Best Buy account via your BestBuy.com profile, or at the store ensuing your My Best Buy account is used to make the purchase.
