Welcome to our forums and thanks for becoming a GCU Member. It certainly sounds like there’s some confusion regarding how the GCU Membership works, which I’ll be happy to help clarify and advise you on.
No linking of accounts should be required on your part, as the act of purchasing the GCU Membership automatically links it to a My Best Buy Rewards Account. That said its possible you have multiple Rewards accounts, and the one you activated your GCU Membership on in-store is different than the one registered on BestBuy.com.
Please see your store receipt for the MyBBY ID your GCU Membership should be activated with, and follow the instructions in our Gamers Club Unlocked Activation FAQ for instructions on how to verify this is reflected on your BestBuy.com account. If you’re showing a different MyBBY ID registered with your BestBuy.com account please follow the instructions in this FAQ to link the correct ID.
