Just a heads up to those who purchase this. Be aware that it may take some time before it's activated. I purchased it hoping to buy 2 games to pick up tomorrow and didn't realize it would take so long to activate. These games are for someone else and I needed them for the weekend. I called customer support and they said it could take 3-5 business days. It's a shame that they can charge your card right away, but to activate the membership takes so much time.

Welcome to our forums and thanks for becoming a GCU Member. It’s disheartening to see this experience has led to disappointment with your purchase, however I’d like to take this opportunity to clarify the activation process.
Firstly the 3-5 business day time frame provided by our phone agent is incorrect, and in the vast majority of cases we expect activations to complete within 1-2 business days. I do apologize for this misinformation you were provided, as our phone agent should have been able to provide you a more accurate estimate for activation.
That said using the information you registered with our forums I was able to locate and review your account, and am happy to report your GCU Membership completed activation overnight less than 24-hours after your purchase. I have also verified your discount is applying in your cart, so you should be good to go with your purchase. However if you have any questions or other concerns please feel free to post again.
