GCU Membership Discount Not Working

I ordered the membership on the first of the month and today when I tried to add some items to my cart it offered me the membership option, which I declined (already havin it) but when I went to the cart the discount was not applied at all. I've seen similar posts littering this forum and it seems the problem clears itself up but since i got the membership over a week ago I have no idea why it would take this long to "kick in".

I was able to locate your My Best Buy Membership with the information you've provided to the forums.  It does appear there's an active membership on the account.   What are you attempting to purchase?  

 

You may want to try logging out of your account and back in.  Also, you may need to clear your browsing history or try a different Internet browser.

Similar to what I've read in other posts I refreshed my shopping cart just shortly after making the post and the discount was just suddenly there. I can only speculate that maybe when a support person checks in on the account it somehow activates the membership dscount. I doubt it's passage of time since for one taking over a week to happen is crazy and for others it happened a couple of days and also shortly after making a post here. Hopefully this isn't a problem that will occur for me again but since it seems to be happening to others as well I hope you guys will be able to work out the cause and fix it.

Hi DJGamers,

 

In all transparency it can 1-3 business days for the GCU to activate to your account.  We check your My Best Buy Member ID and if it is reflected on the account, then it usually just a fresh log in that resolves the issue.
