I just saw that my Paypal was deducted $89.99 for the FC5 Gold digitial download. However, as a member of the GCU, shouldn't I receive a 20% discount?
Additionally, shouldn't they wait to bill me until they've shipped the product (or in this case, e-mailed the code)?

Customer Care told me, "You don't have to worry because that was not for a charge but just for an authorization on the payment instrument to insure that the payment instrument is authorized."
Paypal sure lists it as a Payment.

This was the response I received:
"I was able to check now the data base and it shows here that there was indeed a charge made today. I apologize for this system error that has happened.
I'm pleased to say the refund has already been processed as it only takes 3-5 business days from our end. Total refund processed would be $17.99.
Just in case that you are not seeing your refund after the 5th business day, you will need to contact PayPal to verify if the amount has already been reflected on their end.

To avoid any confusion in the future;
This was a way to draw people away from those services with cheaper physcial prices while they try to keep you paying full price with pre-loads, themes and avatars.

So, they're refunding my 17.99 out of the kindness of their hearts?
Customer Care told me over the phone that 20% DOES apply to digital downloads. They said you won't see it on the website, but it will be reflected in your billing.
When I was billed the full 79.99 I wrote to say what's up?! And they said, "Sorry, we'll refund you 17.99"
