merge accounts



I think I have acquired two MyBestBuy accounts, and I would like to merge them.


I have received multiple emails saying I have a $45 certificate to redeem, but when going through check-out with the login information which I have always used (which is based on the email address which received the certificate notifications), there is no certificate to redeem.  In researching this issue, I've noticed a different member ID listed on the email as when I login to the site.


The original account is likely one I opened back in my home town.  The secondary account was likely created when I recently purchased a major appliance where I currently live.  The second account has achieved elite status given the price of major appliances.


Could you helpe me merge those accounts so that I may both retain elite status and use that $45 on a purchase I would like to make soon?

Welcome to the forum! Having multiple memberships can certainly make getting the most out of our My Best Buy program difficult. 

Using the details you registered with the forum, it does appear that you may have some duplicate information in our system and multiple memberships. If you wish to merge these, please check out our post here and follow the instructions. If you have any questions, please let me know.
