Spent over $2,000 but no Elite?

I should preface this with the fact that I am an employee, so I'm not sure if employee purchases don't count towards elite.

 

However, I have spent at least 2,000 up until now when my tracker says I've only spent 873.

Welcome to the Best Buy forum!

 

You have hit the nail on the head.  Any purchase made with an employee discount will not count towards reaching Elite or Elite Plus status.  As far as purchases made without the discount, it can generally take up to 20 days after spending the required $1,500 for a member's status to be upgraded to Elite.  If you have any other questions about your account or the My Best Buy™ program in-general, then please feel free to send me a private message and I will see what I can do to further assist.  A private message can be sent by first logging into the forum and then clicking on the blue button in my signature.
