Rewards missing

Hi,

I have got 3 e-mails for reward certificates and I am seeing only one of them in my account for $20 (the last one). Because of the Elite Plus status, I should be receiving 6% or 1.25 per $1 spent (saw conflicting information regarding points)  and I am not seeing rewards certificate matching that. Not sure how the old reward certificate is completely gone from my account. Please Help. The only change that was made to my account was there were couple of replacements (return and buy a new one for the same amount but different color)

Hello dkkishor,

 

I don't blame you for having questions when the emails you have received aren't matching up with what is being displayed in your account.  The emails say one thing while your account says another.  It is probably a good thing that I can translate My Best Buy™ into a language that most can understand.  Let me look over your account and see what I can do to help.

 

It does appear you qualified for Elite Plus status following a significant purchase back in July.  As of 8/28, the 25% bonus was combined with the 1 point for every $1 that members with Elite Plus status can earn.  You can now earn 1.25 points for every $1 spent on eligible purchases.  A minimum of 250 points is still needed to generate a $5 certificate.  After a review of your account, it looks like the $20 certificate issued yesterday (9/27) is currently your only active certificate.  The other two certificates were voided following a couple recent exchanges.  Since points are usually deducted following a return or exchange, our system will automatically void any active certificates if a member does not already have sufficient points in their balance.  It is done in the hopes of keeping a member's balance from going negative.
