I made an appliance purchase last year in the Best Buy store. I didn't get rewards or credit towards Elite status. I called and was able to get the reward points added to my account, but not the purchase credit towards Elite status. I've called and spoken with Customer Service three times (on August 24, September 6, and December 29) and was told each time that it would be resolved. Everything looked ok in January and February until all my banked rewards were converted to certificates.
What needs to happen to get the purchase credited towards my Elite Status and to have the reward certificates converted back to points?

Good morning whuttonbb,
Welcome to the Best Buy forum!
Every dollar counts when it comes to reaching Elite or Elite Plus status. It just takes one dollar for a member to lose their status when the tier expiration process roles around. While we can manually add points to a member's account, we are unable to modify a member's spending total. We still should have been able to extend your Elite status back in Aug. when the points were manually added if your spending total for the calendar year had reached $1,500. After a brief review, it would appear to me that you easily exceeded the required $1,500 to requalify for Elite status during the 2017 calendar year.
With that having been said, I will be sending you a private message shortly so that I can go over your account with you in additional detail to ensure it is up-to-date. You can read a private message by first logging into the forum and then clicking on the little yellow envelope icon that is located at the very top of the page. I look forward to further speaking with you and seeing what I can do to help.
Thank you for connecting with us and for being a My Best Buy™ member.
