My Elite Plus account information was changed and merged with another account

I noticed about a month ago that my account email address was changed without my knowledge.  I updated my account with the correct email address and changed my password in case the account was possibly hacked.  I placed an order online on 1/21/17 and while logged in I saw that the primary phone number was also changed.  I changed the number back to my phone number and then went through all the account info to make sure it was correct.  While doing this, I saw in the account order history that a purchase linked to my account had been made on 12/30/16 at a Best Buy store in Katy, TX.  I am in Rhode Island and have never purchased anything at any Best Buy store in Texas.  I am wondering if this purchase was made by the same person who changed the email address and phone number on my account.  Can someone please tell me how I can unlink the accounts, prevent further changes being made to my account and remove this 12/30/16 purchase from the account history under my Elite Plus account?

As far as I can tell, the issue stems from the fact you and this other member have the same name.  You have separate My Best Buy™ accounts but both are displayed when your information is entered in our system.  At some point in time your accounts must have got tied together.  What we need to do is make sure that your information on file is up-to-date and that it can be differentiated from this other member.  Before I can do anything though, I will need to gather some additional information from you.  Please send me a private message with the information listed below and I will see what I can do to help.  A private message can be sent by first logging into the forum and then clicking on the blue button in my signature.
