Welcome to our forums! I’m glad you took the time to join our community to post this question, as I imagine a lot of our My Best Buy® Visa cardholders have found themselves in a similar situation, and I’ll be happy to answer your question.
Our My Best Buy Program Terms actually covers this particular question, and I’ll include the relevant text below:
You become a My Best Buy program Elite Plus member by spending $3500 at Best Buy or BestBuy.com or spending $3500 on your My Best Buy Visa during a calendar year. A My Best Buy program member qualifies for Elite Plus status approximately 15-20 days after the member spends a total of $3500 on qualifying purchases.
As stated, it can take up to 20 days before you see your My Best Buy status change.
