My Best Buy™ - Spending Bar - 2016

I was checking my account today and noticed that my amount spent so far this year decreased by alot.  Earlier in the week my amount spent was almost $5000 qualifying me for Elite Plus next year.  I long on the website today and it says I only spent $800.  Any help would be appreciated

I logged into my account today to check the same, as I was approaching the $3500 annual spend and noticed my amount spent decreased by about $1000.

Mine went down by several thousand dollars and now is just above the Elite qualifying line! So I came out here to see if there were reports on this and sure enough. Something just went screwy. I haven't checked my Spent amount in over a month so I can't be as exact as you guys as to when it happened but I defintely dropped at least two to three thousand dollars.

I wanted to follow up. I just talked to Customer Service. My spending number was significantly lower online than what is actually on my Account. Something absolutely glitched in the Online View.

Same thing happened to me.

 

So it is just an error on their website, not with our account, correct?  I was so close to becoming ElitePlus.

Good afternoon everyone,

 

As you appear to have already noticed, there is something currently causing the Elite/Elite Plus spending bars to reflect incorrect totals.  The issue is also apparently causing problems when it comes to redeeming active certificates on BestBuy.com.  Our program team has been made aware of the reported issues and is currently looking into the matter.  From the information provided to me, the issues came about following some "fixes" that were put into place overnight as part of the ongoing system clean-up.  It feels like we are taking two steps forward and then one step back while trying to get the program back up to full speed.

 

After looking over each of your accounts, it would appear to me that the spending total on our side of things reflects what you recall.  Those totals would be your true totals and not what you currently see when logged into your accounts.  I am currently waiting for our program team to provide me with additional information and an update, which I will post here ASAP.

Spending decreased

Hi, I was just about to hit Elite status with my Spending and about... 80% of my amount spent went away. Is there something wrong with my account or is it showing wrong?

Any word on the fix?  My progress bar is many thousands decreased from a few days ago......currently shows I haven't reached Elite Plus for next year....

As I type this, I have not been provided with any updates.  I reported the issue in-question to our My Best Buy™ team yesterday who then opened a ticket to have the issue properly reviewed.  While the spending total displayed when you login to your account might not be correct, your current total is correct on our side of things.  I am showing that you have far exceeded the $3,500 needed to requalify for Elite Plus status.  Once an update has been provided to me, I will post it here.

YTD Spending is Incorrect

When I recently checked my rewards and points online, it showed I had spent less than $1500 this year, but just a few days ago I was very close to reaching Elite Plus.

 

Is there a glitch causing this?
