Missing Points with My Best Buy Credit Card, think you could help? w/scanned March 10% Bonus Days

Hello,

 

My name is Zach, I had used my My Best Buy Credit Card with the March Bonus Days 10% in Rewards Back Coupon and the points have not yet posted and have not yet showed up in pending. My customer service pin is: {removed per forum guidelines}. The subtotal was $85.96 and the total was $93.05. It won't let me put it in the missing points section on the my best buy website, says authorization denied. Please help if you can and let me know if you need anything else.

Hi there Zach - 

 

Thank you for reaching out to us regarding your purchase that you don't see on your end! After using the 10% back in rewards coupon from March on the purchase, I'm glad you've been keeping an eye on your account to make sure it processes correctly. 

When reviewing the purchase, it strangely doesn't appear that your member ID auto-attached to the purchase as it should have when using your My Best Buy credit card as payment. With that said, please allow the full 20 days for this to post. If it ultimately doesn't attach your membership and post, I would be delighted to look further into this!

Hi Tasha,

Sorry to jump the gun here by a day (really wanting to purchase something tomorrow and with the points I know I'll have at least a $5 certificate) but I still don't see those points posted or pending. Is there some reason that my member ID did not connect with my best buy credit card, or something in the future I can make sure to do that it does?

Again here is the information on that purchase:

Purchase was made on March 21st. (I guess technically today would be 20th day)
I used the March Bonus Days 10% back CPN
Subtotal before tax on that purchase was $85.96 (not sure how many points that will get me with 10%
And customer service Pin Is: {removed per forum guidelines}

Hi Zach, 

Thank you for reaching back out to me. It was likely just an anomaly in the system that your membershpi wasn't automatically attached as it should have been when paying with a My Best Buy credit card. However, you may of course ensure your membership is manually attached to each purchase as well by providing us with your phone number at checkout.
