I recently purchased a printer from BestBuy that was supposed to be shipped to an address. I got a call from the carrier when it was sent out for delivery stating that there was no one at the address to receive the package at that time (it was shipped on a Sunday) and that it was going to be returned to the distribution center and that I would receive a refund. I used two methods of payment on the purchase: my BestBuy Gift Card which still hasn't been credited (it's been a little over 3 days now) and a certificate from my rewards account. When and how will all the money be credited back to my account? (The return period stipulates that it likely should have happened by now.) Thanks!

This is a fantastic question to ask when you are awaiting a refund! I'm sorry to hear that the carrier may have been unable to deliver your order, ultimately returning your printer to us.
Once the return is processed and a refund issued, you should be refunded in the manner in which you paid. Gift cards generally reflect the refund pretty quickly, sometimes within 30 minutes, but we do generally request you allow 24 hours for the refund to process. Reward certificates may take up to 6 business days to be returned. Please keep in mind that it's actually the points that are returned for these certificates, so new certificates with new expiration dates may be issued.
With that said, I was able to locate the order in question and it seems that your return has not been processed. Please know that I am reaching out to the appropriate teams to check on this. Once I have more information for you, I will be sure to reach out to you right away.
