Irate customer

Hello

I am absolutely irate right now. I received this email saying that someone has YET AGAIN added an email address to my account. I have contacted your company half a dozen times over the past 6 months or so, although your foreign customer service number tells me it has only been 4 times in the past month and a half.

This prompted me to check my account and someone has used $115 worth of my certificates on a soundboard according to your customer service department. I have asked every time I have called that they lick my account so this would not happen. My email address is the one I am writing from and I have my address in Knoxville and my phone number beginning with 865 and all my credit card #s.

The {removed per forum guidelines} are unauthorized email addresses and are not MINE! I SPEND Thousands of dollars every few months with you guys on TVs washers dryers and fridges for my company. I earned those credits and have done my due diligence in trying to get YOU to keep them safe. I want my credits back immediately. There are other companies I can shop from but enjoy your rewards program. Take that away from me and give me unsatisfactory customer service and what else is there!?!?!


I keep removing these email addresses and phone numbers but you keep letting them add back. Does this mean they can get my home address and credit card #????????

I want resolution immediately from a management team mamber on the US.

Hello Knoxpunx, 

Welcome to the forum, although I wish it were under better circumstances. It is incredibly discouraging to hear that your account may have had someone else's information added to it and that someone else may have been able to use your My Best Buy certificates. 
 

Using the details you registered with the forum, I was able to locate your previous contacts with us. Currently, it appears that the support teams you contacted over the weekend have addressed the issue with your certificates. However, I would be delighted to ensure your information is separate in our systems, so please see that I am sending you a private message. With that said, please know the only way someone could access your online account is if they had your email address and password. As such, I would encourage you to change your password to your BestBuy.com account, as well as your email account, if you haven't already.
