I need help with my best buy account.

when i go to purchase products in store and i give my phone number associated with my account, sometimes i am asked which account i am using. one of them is elite the other is not. recently i made some purchases and was not asked and just assumed that the purchases were made under the elite account however they were not. I do not know the email address for the non elite account. all i have is a member id and phone number. i was wondering if i needed to go in store or if i could chat with an american. i have called customer service 3 times and they have no idea what i am talking about. thank you for your help.

Having multiple memberships can be a bit frustrating as your purchases and the rewards earned become split among them. It can cause even more frustration when one membership is a different tier than the other, earning points at a higher rate.
