I always feel a little bummed out when I see a recent purchase I made dropped in price. I'm glad to hear that you are an Elite Plus member, allowing you 45 days to price match items under our Price Match Guarantee!

While store price matches are intended to be made in store, I'm glad you reached out to see what options you may have as you can't make it in before the sale potentially ends. With that said, our dedicated Elite and Elite Plus line is intended to handle My Best Buy related concerns only, and other concerns should be directed to our general customer service line at 1-888-237-8289. 

However, it is still strange that the agent may have had trouble reviewing your receipt. It is possible the agent may have simply been experiencing technical difficulties with the receipt loading. I would be happy to take a closer look at this experience, so I am sending you a private message. You may check your messages by signing into the forum then clicking the envelope icon in the top right corner of the page.

elite plus 24/7 phone line

i have had this issue for over a year when i try  calling the dedicated elite or elite plus line no one ever answers its automated and just transfers me to regular bestbuy online or customer service and also it never 24/7 if i call past certain time at nite it still transfers me to  regular online number and then says we are closed for the nite. i am starting to wonder if the elite number is even correct on the website it would be first time ive seen stuff in correctly on website mainly the price match has had  things that werent correct in it please help with this and hope like many post ive seen and private had to send bc of game issues that it will not take a week or more time to get an answer or in some cases not ever got an answer to

Hello again bgdaking,

 

You must be calling either early in the morning or at night.  While the dedicated line for our Elite and Elite Plus members is open 24/7, agents do not take calls from 11 PM to 7 AM central time.  You would still have access to the self-service options, which should help with the below topics:

 

*  Points Balance

*  Reward History (Last 5+ transactions)

*  Certificate Status

*  Attach Missing Points

*  Points needed to next certificate

*  Spend needed to reach next tier level

 

You can always feel free to reach out to us on the forum rather than calling in by either creating a new thread or just sending a private message here.  Before I forget, I want to thank you for helping answer questions for our members in the Early Access thread when I was not online.

elite plus number

Im an elite plus member and have been looking for this 24/7 number for an hour now.  I see it says look on your member card but who saves those?  I have the app I cant find it there or on the site...please let me know

It says that you need to send Derek a PM to obtain the number (I'm thinking maybe I should do this too, seeing I'm Elite Plus as well). Make sure to also read the last post by Derek on the 4th page, he mentions there that while it is a 24 hours number, that it is only part of the day manned with actual people.

One of the benefits of having Elite or Elite Plus status is the dedicated phone line.  You are not likely to find the number displayed anywhere on BestBuy.com though in the hopes to prevent a lot of misdirected calls.  It is intended to be for My Best Buy™ program related questions.  The information sakura8o8 mentioned is correct.  While the phone line is available 24 hours a day, you would be unable to speak with an actual human being between 11 PM and 7 AM central time.  There are self-serve options though for those common program questions, including:
 

*  Points Balance

*  Reward History (Last 5+ transactions)

*  Certificate Status

*  Attach Missing Points

*  Points needed to next certificate

*  Spend needed to reach next tier level

 

You can always feel free to reach out to us on the forum if you have any questions or concerns.  There is the Customer Service section for questions that pertain to policy (l.e. return/exchange or price match) or the My Best Buy section when you have questions about points and/or certificates.  We currently have a Holiday Support board too.  Let us know if there is anything we can help with.  A private message is welcomed if you have any My Best Buy related questions.  You can send those here.

Elite Plus Dedicated Number No Longer Deals with Order Issues?

Just tried calling the dedicated Elite Plus line.  Rep informed me he could only deal with points issues (misisng points, etc) and not actual order issues.  Then immediately put me in the general queue.  

 

Is this accurate?  Because if the Elite Plus line no longer can resolve order issues, that's a major loss in value.  I'm having issues with two orders, and I'm not about to wait the hour it's quoting me to talk to someone on the general line (where the service, from experience, is very hit or miss to begin with).

What is the point of the Private Elite Member # if they just transfer you to the regular queues?

Called The Elite Member support the other night and the guys transfered me to the same queue I'd go to if I called the regular # with a 40 minute wait time.
