Elite Events (Or events in general)

I've been curious about this for quite some time and figured since I joined this forum I might as well ask it here.  I've been Elite/Elite Plus for a few years now and have NEVER recieved any invites to the events that are mentioned in the reward level perks.

 

Are they not done at all stores/areas of the country?

Am I flagged in some way to not get an invite?

 

Not that I need a reason to spend more money in the store, but if there are events where I could save money I would love to know what I need to do to get an invite.

 

Just curious if it's one of those YMMV type things are only big cities have them.

Welcome to the Best Buy forum!

 

That is definitely a fair enough question.  As far as I can remember, we have not had an in-store private shopping event for our Elite and Elite Plus members or basically any members in a couple years.  When we do have those types of events they are now held online.  Our most popular event is the Black Friday Early Access event that takes place the Monday prior to Black Friday, which is exclusive to members with Elite and Elite Plus status.  There are other occasions during the year where we will have random online shopping events but an email notification may not always be sent out.  I would strongly suggest adding "BestBuyInfo@emailinfo.bestbuy.com" to your email contact list to help increase your chances of receiving program related emails in the future.
