I checked the status of my progress toward Elite/Elite Plus for next year and it reports I've only spent around $450 or so. Checking my purchase history, I spent more than that in the first quarter of the year. Manually adding up what I've spent this year, I've most definitely spent over $2500 qualifying me for Elite status next year, and I want to make sure I get this taken care of before the year ends.

The goal of reaching Elite or Elite Plus status is one that many members have. I have that goal every year and always seem to fall short. After a review of your account, I can confirm that your spending total is accurate. The reason why it is not higher would have to do with your current employment at Best Buy. There are certain purchases the employees can make that will not count towards reaching Elite or Elite Plus status.
