If a completely different account ID # is displayed when you login to BestBuy.com, then you might have two accounts. The merge process would come into play if that were the case. I looked over your account using the email address that you registered with the forum and can see why you are having trouble accessing your Elite Plus status. A merge will not be needed. I will be sending you a private message shortly so that I can go over your account with you in additional detail. To read your private messages, you will first want to login to the forum and then click on the little yellow envelope icon that is located at the very top of the page.
