customer service

We have purchased several big tag items from Best Buy.  Our recent purchase, a dryer took up to a week to have delivery.  The day before delivery my husband was informed that he had to see his doctor for a very important injection.  I tried to tell the representative of the LaQuinta store my problem that delivery was between 12 and 4 and my husband had to see the doctor at 1:45.

He asked if Monday would be better...I said I guess I don't have a choice...he automatcally changed my appointment...I realized we weren't available that day either and asked  since it was only 24 hours before the dryer was to be delivered if they couldn't be more exact on the time.

He said it's too late I already changed your appointment.  He was not helpful and rude.  I asked to speak to a manager he said you can't but I'll give you a number...I asked for his name and he hung up.  I was furious.  I called the number and the lady was very nice but of no help...she asked if I would like to speak to a manger of the store and I said yes....she transfered me to a lady that said she was in another state and just a representative and couldn't be of any help.  I was even more angry at this point.

I will never ever step foot in a Best Buy store again.  How very frustrating for a very good customer.  I wouldn't treat anyone like this and don't expect it from a store.  I'll go to Wal Mart where compared to you has excellent service!!!!

I want to offer you my sincerest apologies for the completely unacceptable customer service you were provided recently. We understand our customers have things that come up and we genuinely do our best to be respectful, compassionate and what’s within our capabilities to accommodate. I’m sorry that wasn’t the type of service you received.
