Terrible customer service

On 1/6/2018 we purchased a Bosch dishwasher from Best Buy in Menominee Falls, WI.  Total was over $1000.  We set up delivery for today, 1/12/2018 between 8am and noon.  At 8:15am I got a call stating that the warehouse didn’t put the dishwasher on the truck, so they need to reschedule.  I took the day off work for this!  I can’t take another day off!  So we schedule for NEXT Saturday because they were unable to schedule it for tomorrow.  I called back to ask if it could be delivered Monday because my husband is off.  I called 3 Times, got 3 different people, all going to check to see “what they could do” and call me back.  It’s  now almost 6pm and no one called back.

i am really unhappy.  I have been a GREAT Best Buy customer for 26 years, I just spent over $1000 and Best Buy didn’t put my appliance on the truck and there is NOTHING anyone can do?  Are you kidding me?  

So I’m going to sleep on this and will likely go back there tomorrow and cancel the order and get my dishwasher elsewhere.

i just wanted someone to DO something to accommodate THEIR mistake.  Pull a string.  Call in a favor.  DO SOMETHING to keep a customer.Smiley SadSmiley SadSmiley SadSmiley SadSmiley SadSmiley Sad

Welcome to the forums! My college roommate was from Menomonee Falls. I’ve heard great things about the area! I do, however, regret to hear about your delivery experience. That sounds truly disappointing.  

 

Having had a delivery recently myself, I know the hassle of having to rearrange your schedule, including taking off work, to accommodate the delivery team. I can only imagine the frustration in being told that your dishwasher wasn’t even put on the truck. Simply put, that should not have happened. Furthermore, I’m discouraged to hear that the delivery team wasn’t able to work with your schedule a bit better.  I’m very sorry for the situation you were put in.

I’m very grateful to see that you kept your order and that it’s scheduled for delivery on Saturday. Please let me know how this goes this time! So no worries it is Saturday, January 20, 2018.  Dishwasher was scheduled for delivery between 8am and noon.  It is 1pm...no dishwasher, no call, no text...this is terrible...so so disappointing!

Per the private message you sent, I’m very glad to hear the dishwasher was delivered, although I wish it would have arrived on time. This additional complication certainly doesn’t reflect well on us. Just so you know, I’ll be documenting this, as well as the previous issues, in a case here at our corporate office for internal review. While I can’t undo the experience, hopefully we can provide a better one in the future. Enjoy your new dishwasher!
