Poor delivery company

Our delivery for the $2k 65” TV we purchased was scheduled for today, Friday (7/6) between 3-5 pm. It is 9:30 and the TV has not arrived. I called customer service 3 times and was on hold for 50 minutes total trying to figure out where our TV is!! Each time I called we were told it would be another hour. During the third call I was told to escalate via the store. I then called the store and was on hold for 10 more minutes!!! Finally I went to the store where I was told if it wasn’t delivered by now (8PM) it was likely not coming. Interesting when customer service just told me it would arrive by 8:30. Why the lies?? Also I received 2 text messages and an email confirming the delivery time but NO communication efforts to let us know it wasn’t coming or had been delayed. Yet, the email clearly states that the driver has my contact number and will call when they are in their way. Why wasn’t the number used to notify me of the delay? After all of these complaints in this forum the LEAST Best Buy could do is hire another company to deliver their products.

We shouldn’t be telling our customers anything but the truth when it comes to their deliveries, and I’m sorry to hear that you were told incorrect information when you called in to check on your order.  Our employee's should be doing their best to provide you with the most up to date information and I appreciate you bringing this to our attention here on the Best Buy forums!

 

With that said, I’m so thankful to see that you had the opportunity to pick up this item yourself the following day.  The moderators on this forum do work out of the Corporate Headquarters in Richfield, MN.  I realize my response is a bit late in this instance, but please never hesitate to reach back out to us if we can ever lend a helping hand!
