Delivery & Installation issues

Hi - I'm writing this as it was real shock for me to experince Best Buy delivery service.I've an appoinment yesterday (09/12/2017) for the delivery and installation of Appliances from Best BUY - Refrigirator,Washer and Dryer at given address between 4 PM to 8 PM and I was waiting and waiting during that time period. Then I got a voice message from {removed per forum guidelines} around 5.08PM saying that some one was waiting at my place but no body is at the house. Are you kidding me? I was in the house and kids are playing outside - how can the delivery guys make up the stories like that? When I call back that number, no one is answering and so I got to call support# to get confirmation that I miss the delivery.This is ridiculous.


Rather they should provide a deivery boy contact details to reach immediately and provide a valid reason if they can't make it rather than providing a generic customer support which could take longer to talk to a representative. I hope management can understand these concerns and find a solution soon to reduce the pain and stress on consumer.

Thank you for taking the time out of your day to share your delivery experience with us. I’m sorry to hear that that your delivery didn’t go as planned for your refrigerator, washer, and dryer. I understand not receiving them as planned can be frustrating, and an inconvenience.


Best Buy partners with reputable third party delivery companies to be able to deliver in a timely manner. I’m sorry to hear that our partners may not have clearly articulated an issue with locating your home, and they were unable to answer your call when you attempted to return it. I understand their unprofessional actions reflects poorly on Best Buy, and may change your opinion of Best Buy.
