I bought a used N64 online that doesnt seem to have any problems and former user said it didnt have any problems, but it wont work on my 32" Toshiba HDTV. I checked all the cabels (everything there is new) I dont really know what Im doing on all of this so any advice would be helpful. Ive plugged and unplugged everything multiple times but there still isnt any signal on the TV. Please help!!!

Do you have another TV to test it on? There could be many reason why it's not working like bad cables or your tv's Composite slot is dead. Do you get sound?

Nothing else I can test it on right now. I might try at a friends place. No sound picture or anything. TV doesnt even pick up a signal, but my Xbox will work on the same inputs

You putting in the A/V cables in to a composite input( Yellow, Red, White) or a componet input(Red,Green,Blue)
cause that may be your issue if its turning on

Or maybe your prongs are dirty. The metal part of the av cables. I've never cleaned them, but I hear people saying rubbing alchol. That and maybe it's the game? Been a long time since I played a 64 game but I remember when trying to play a game on any tv I used will take a good few seconds before anything shows up. Just looked like nothing was working. I blew into the game and try a few more times and worked. Not like new systems now when you know video is working cause the screen will flicker or something.
