Ps4 Financing

The PS4 Pre-order is $399 and qualifies for the 6 Month Financing since it is above $149. This is clearly shown on the PS4 page.

Is there a reason why the PS4 Bundle Pre-Order which is $499 does not show any financing options? Technically that bundle should be 18 months financing since it is above $429.

Re: Ps4 Financing

Hello jfelts-

With the popularity of the upcoming PlayStation 4, I’m a little surprised that the question of financing has not come up before this!

To be honest, I am not sure why this is not showing a financing option, but I’ve got a request in to our support team to see if I can find out why.  Once I have more information, I’ll post it here.

Thanks for connecting with us!

Re: Ps4 Financing

Hello again jfelts-

I wanted to let you know that the bundle should qualify for the 18 month financing and it has been updated to reflect this.

You may not see it on the normal product listing, but once it has been put into your cart on BestBuy.com, the financing option should show up.

Thanks again for pointing this out!

Re: Ps4 Financing

Bill, do you know why when you do a pre-order bundle that you can't just pick up all items at once when the preorder is complete? I did the pre-order thinking that all items were probably in the same box and that I would just pick it up when the PS4 comes out.. But it appears Best Buy is wanting me to pick up the 12 month PS Plus card now since it is ready.

Re: Ps4 Financing

Hi jfelts-

This is not an official Sony PlayStation 4 bundle, but one that we have put together for Best Buy, so each item is separate.

Because of that, the PlayStation Network card would be immediately available for pick up.  I would recommend picking it up right away, as it that part of the order gets cancelled, the entire order would most likely be cancelled.

I hope that this helps,

And here's the rub.

Because the items are being released seperately (card immediately upon purchase. Based on the email I just received, Killzone will be released Oct 21...which seems odd, as I will have to pay for something I won't be able to use for a month...but anyway, then the system then in November), the amount charged will be broken into 3 pieces, none of which will be above the $429 threshold for 18 month financing (even though it was advertised as such).

Does Best Buy have a resolution for this? It really is disappointing that Best Buy could not design a bundle that actually "acts" like a bundle and all comes together, instead of piecemealing us. Not only does it make the process more difficult for us, it also costs us 12 months of interest-free financing.

P.S. I would love to be corrected!
