Hello all I'm new here and would like to ask if anyone had problems with the PS3. My son
got a ps3 last year for Christmas 2007 and lately his games haven't been loading it
freezes up while it's loading. My question is can I bring it back to Best Buy, I finally
found the receipt, or do I need to send it to Sony? Please help. Thanks in advance

I was sorry to hear of your troubles with your son's PS3. I know how frustrating that can be when my children's gaming systems don't work. If you purchased aProduct Replacement Plan at Best Buy®, you should be able to take it into a local store or call the PRP department at 1-888-BESTBUY. However, if you did notprotect the unit, you would need to deal with Sony directly. The only downside, is I believe that a PS3 only comes with a 1 year manufacturer's warranty.
