Is there a way you could help me find out when I purchased my PlayStation 3?

if you have a rewardzone account and purchased it under that it should be listed their, other wise if you purchased online it should be in your order history if you bought in store its on the receipt

If you just want a date, then checked when you played your first game on it (game saves)

If you played your first game the day or close to the day you bought it, you most likely created a save. This would tell you the date (or close to) of purchase.

This is how I just checked my 360 to see if it was still under warranty.
