okay so i have a ps3 and i tryed to play it but its just blank and im pretty sure it has to do something with the av multi out so should i take it to geek sqaud to see if they can fix it or what do i do? and i dont have a hd t.v

Is this a brand new system, refurbished or open box item?

When you turn it on will it display anything?

When you turn it on do you see the power or disc light flash in any pattern(basicly not stay on with a solid glow)?

This. And do you get sound also? If your system is not dead, I'm thinking the Display. PS3 has this weird Display setting. If you're not using Composite cables, you may have to reset your video options which can be done by having the system off and holding the power button till you hear 2 beeps. This will reset your video and the system should display a warning (after a few seconds) that if you can see it to press Yes to accept these changes. Do this if the above doesn't apply to you.

well i had my ps3 for about a year already and no it wont display anything and theres no sound whats so ever. i use a standerd tv but when i troed it on my brothers tv with the HDMI cable it works fine.

yeah I had to reset the display after hooking it up to my cousin's tv w/HDMI cables then going back to standard connection
