You enter the code on Xbox live(internet connection needed). If you hit the button in the middle of the controller (looks like an X), the push left 2ce it will get you to the marketplace tab.

In that tab there is a redeem code option. Push down until it is highlighted then hit A. Will prompt you to enter code. The code is found on the halo Reach cardboard voucher.

Re: NEW-Xbox 360 250GB Holiday Bundle UNBOXING

Thanks for your help, but that's what I'm missing - the code. I looked thru all the paperwork that came with the console and Fable 3 and don't see anything close to a code. After reading this description - you may have to achieve some level on Fable 3 to "earn" the game? Or is it just a packing error that I need to take up with Best Buy?

Re: NEW-Xbox 360 250GB Holiday Bundle UNBOXING

Packing error. I saw them at my local BBY adding in the holiday bundle extras (was an official M$ rep at mine) their should have been a cardboard voucher about the size of a game case that had Halo Reach on the front. When you flipped it over it would have instructions on how to redeem the code and then a peel off with the code behind it.

I would contact the store first. Or possibly 1 of the reps can help u here

Re: NEW-Xbox 360 250GB Holiday Bundle UNBOXING

Hello Xboxmama,

Welcome to the forum!

I’m sorry to hear that you are missing the code for your download of Halo: Reach, it should have been included in the package. I would advise doing exactly as Jimmienomam said, you should go back to the store to see what they can do for you. Before you go, I would make absolutely sure that you did not receive it and thoroughly check everything that came with your Xbox unit.

Let us know how it goes, good luck!

Re: NEW-Xbox 360 250GB Holiday Bundle UNBOXING

It was a packing error and microsoft had left extra Halo download cards at my local Best Buy store.  Several different bundles out for the holidays.  I had a download card for "Carnival" which was supposed to go with a Kinect bundle.  Thanks for pointing me in the right direction!

Re: NEW-Xbox 360 250GB Holiday Bundle UNBOXING

Just an FYI, each year when Microsoft does the "holiday bundle" there are two types. The first is basically a standard XBOX 360 that a Microsoft rep comes in, slaps a "Holiday Bundle" sticker on the outside, opens the box and places the bonus items inside, in this case, a copy of the Fable 3 game, and a download code card for Halo Reach. The second type of holiday bundle is the actual version featuring a slightly differnet box showing images of the two games inside. These come pre-packaged and shipped to the stores with the games inside already.

If you are looking for the holiday bundle, then go with the one with the box featuring the game images on the outside and try to avoid the one wit the holiday bundle sticker placed,as those copies are supposed to feature the games/added content inside by  a rep but sometimes a rep forgets to put them inside or forgets one of the two games, etc.
