MY fiance wants an XBOX 360 what is the best one?

What are the best games out? he likes killing games, some war games, etc. What are the good games that are coming out?

Well, if he wants an Xbox 360 and not a PS3, then the answer is obvious - get an Xbox 360.

If he's open to choosing between the 360 and PS3, then it's less clear.

Xbox 360 gets the Halo franchise and a few other exclusive franchises

PS3 has superior media support (Blu-Ray capability)

Most of the other major first person shooter franchises are released for both platforms.  I think graphics quality for some of the games is better on PS3.  (Not sure though for FPS games like the Call of Duty series and the Battlefield series - I know for role playing games, Final Fantasy XIII had vastly superior graphics on PS3 than Xbox 360.)

The Wii is not a good choice for a fan of first person shooter type games.

If he is planning on downloading content or installing games to the HDD I recommend 250 GB GOW3 Bundle

If not and either of you plan on getting a Kinect and HDD space isn't an issue then I recommend 4 GB Kinect Bundle

The GOW3 bundle is $100 more but it comes w/ Gears 3 (a great upcoming "killing" game), a giant HDD and a second controller.  If I wasn't  waiting on the R2-D2 model, I would get that one to replace my old one.

Xbox is going to be your better overall gaming experience, especially if he is going to be doing online gaming.

xbox is the best way to go if you want to keep on buying systems or repair after they they get RROD or tray issues

Get him a slim xbox 360 with a 250gb hard drive , it is 299.99 but only comes with one controller or just spend 399.99 on the 320gb version with  2 controllers and the gears of war game. either way you can't lose. The new games he would most like would be battlefield 3 which comes out Oct 25th I believe and the new call of duty game which comes out Nov 8th. If you wanted to wait until Nov 8th, they are having a bundle package for 399.99 that comes with the cod game, 2 controllers and a 320gb hd. No idea why that guy was comparing the PS3 to the xbox 360 cause I took it as you wanted to know which xbox 360 too buy

Hey lw2kwwjd if you want the best buy on a console that you could grab right now it would be a benefit to get the Gears of war 3 xbox which brings the biggest hard drive to the xbox where he can store his information for his games, music, netflix, and any content he wants to download.  The package comes with 2 controllers a 320gb xbox 360 a copy of the game Gears of War 3 and downloadable content for the game.
