i downloaded this thing and i got rid of it. then i noticed this icon on my desktop. i sent it to trash and uninstalled it. after i went on internet exploration it came back. so i sent it to the trash again and it still came back. it comes back everytime i open up i.e it is really making me mad. please help me. here is what it looks like-

Are you able to run a system restore to a few days back before you did the download? That icon is a debug report for an application that is trying to run.

im able to run a system restore, but will it delete any important files? what does it do?

System restore will leave all your important files. It just rolls your computer back a few days to the way it was at that restore point.

well the system restore didnt work.

and at this point, norton does pik it up as a threat. its just a blank notepad. i just wanted to get rid of it because it annoyed me. would it be ok just to leave it there. its not harming my computer in any way. i can learn to live with it

Hello BobPickleFace:

have you tried pressing <SHIFT> + <DELETE> to remove the program permanently? Are you using a MAC? With MAC you drag it to the trash and then select "Secure Empty".

i hate people who go directly to system restore. doesn't do crap. learn to problem solve. if you can't delete it system restore can't delete it simple as that. now to remove it.

SYSTEM RESTORE FAILS AT LIFE. if anything i go for a clean fresh install with no programs preinstalled from the computer manufacture 

type in search the name of said program. then ones all files install files of that program and delete them at the same time. thus disabling it from bring it self back. now empty recycling bin.

i've had same problem with weatherbug. came with the computer. did not want to go away. took me 2  hours to figure this out.
