I would like to add a second monitor to my desktop. Adding a second card disables the video on the motherboard. I have a 250w power supply which appears to be inadequate for any cards that I have been able to find that can support two monitors. I don't really want to replace the power supply to get the second monitor.
Any suggestions?

This external VGA adapter lets you easily add an additional display to your computer for improved efficiency and enhanced presentation.

Based on comments on other sites, it sounds like there are driver issues with Windows 7. Any thoughts?

Also, what sort of things are you wanting to use the second monitor for?
Those USB adapters are fine for non-video web browsing (Stuff like YouTube may not work well) and basic office work (Word/Excel/PowerPoint), and probably still image photography work, but not for any gaming or video.

You have to get a new PSU. That's the only way to move forward if you want to keep using your PC. Otherwise, you will have to get rid of it soon.
