i just had my laptop fixed week ago. there was just virus prob. then they call me to say my hard drive was broke.then i told them to fix it but when i got it back they took my new adopter and replaced it with the old one. best buy is a trusted name but i m very disappointed now its hard to trust to leave the comp there.

Was the adapter not made by the manufacturer?  If so, then it was not covered, and they probably gave you the appropriate adapter for your computer.  Some adapters aren't up to the required specs for a given computer.   That may have been the case in your situation....

my laptop is just a year old so my adapter was used but not ruffly used. it wasnt dropped or anything. and i can see totaly diffrent after i had my laptop repaired but not for the adapter i just gave the adapter coz they asked me to use it so they can fix my laptop now i see totaly different adapter and its broken but working. thats the prob. they took the good one and exchange it with the one they gave me.

Who is the manufacturer of your laptop?  If it is an HP laptop, I should be able to assist you.
