Updating NS-P11W7100 to Windows 10 1709 32-bit kills the audio, camera, maybe other drivers?

After finally convincing Windows 10 on a NS-P11W7100 (apparently not a rev-C?) to update to Version 1709 (ver 10.0.16299.192 32-bit) I seem to have lost the drivers for the audio, camera, and who knows what else. Is there an easy fix? Since I had to factory reset the tablet to get Windows to update, I'll try Microsoft's RefreshWindowsTool next. If that doesn't do the trick, I might try looking through the Acronis full backup I made before embarking on this debacle.

Full Backup Sunday and CHKDSK /R Monday before Patch Tuesday, always.

Thanks!

I've also been having the same problem, and have been bouncing my head off of it for the better part of a week.

If you find a solution, I'd love to hear it.

Tech support recommended the community member built driver suite here:

Thanks for the drivers, but no amount of uninstalling old drivers and reinstalling these do anything for me.

Actually, upon several more rounds of deleting and updating driver, the realtek audio driver finally took, and I have sound back.

How about the cameras? Some people had WiFi issues too.

If you're thinking about rolling back the whole mess by restoring from a full system backup, forget it. Tablets won't boot Acronis rescue media, and Windows System Image Recovery doesn't want to recognize my drives or .VHDX files created from Acronis backups.

Unfortunately, Insignia does not make drivers available for every product. My NS-P08W7100 runs fine...but...if the drivers become corrupted, it will end up being tossed into an electronic device recycling bin. 😟

I asked in the drivers thread how that collection was made. Maybe the same procedure will work for your device too.

I'd be hesitant to install drivers that are not provided by the manufacturer.

I'm pretty certain that Insignia doesn't manufacture the tablets it sells. My 8" Insignia tablet and the 8" Windows tablet sold under the NuVusion label both were discontinued at almost the same time. This leads me to believe that the tablets are made by some third party.

Having said that...Microsoft makes drivers available for its own products. Last month, I created recovery drives for my Microsoft Surface 3, Surface Pro 3 and my Church's Surface Book 2. I reloaded the drivers into the S3 & SP3 without any problems, so, I have no doubt that the drivers for the SB2 are just as good. ☺

Whoops..The correct name of the other tablet seller is NuVision. Chubby fingers don't work very well with smartphone keyboards. 😟
