Hey~ i have a problem here, the thing is today I just bought a wireless router with the two year plan, i chose to take the plan because the staff in store told me i can exchange it to the lastest model after two year for free, but now i'm not sure if that's true after i read the detail about the plan, it seems the 2yr plan is just an extended warranty?? I really appreciate the help if somebody can clear it.

It is an extended service plan, but routers do not get repaired. So if your router stopped working, bring it in and exchange it for a comparable unit.

It is a warranty. There is no exchange for the latest model plan and you should just cancel it via the phone number as it is really of no use to you unless you want the piece of mind of being able to exchange it for a new router if yours becomes a brick. Most people do not use the plan after buying it but it can be used appropriately if you do end up needing it.

These guys promise anything to sell their products, if you don't have any written proof, you will be told that they haven't promised so.

Which is why you have to agree to the terms and conditions upon purchase...

But yes, for all intensive purposes, it does extend the warranty which would give you the full value of the purchase towards a new one upon failure.
