Replacing laptop key pad

I purchased my laptop ( HP pavilion g6) from Best Buy in last August. Some keys of my laptop key pad are not functioning well (hard to press). I am within my warranty period. Can I replace my key pad from best buy shop for free.

Re: Replacing laptop key pad

I doubt best buy will replace it for free, but its not the hardest thing and pretty cheap to just buy new laptop keys, for your HP G6, you can buy hp laptop keys from www.replacementlaptopkeys.com

and the direct link for your hp g6 laptop key

Since you are under warranty, bring it in and they will send it out to see if the problem is covered.

Re: Replacing laptop key pad

Ruwan,

Sorry to hear you are having issues with your HP notebook keyboard.  In addition to the information already provided, another option is you can have the notebook sent directly to HP if it is still under warranty.  I would be happy to facilitate this for you.  If you consider this option, please send via Best Buy's private email your contact information and the product number and serial number.

Regards,
