Hi. I own a Lenovo Edge 2 Laptop and recently the hinges of my laptop started to malfunction. Also my screen has lifted and I can't close my laptop or else it will break the screen. The screen and touch screen is still completely functional ( you can see in the photos). Also, before my screen lifted and the hinges started to stop working, the part where I charge my laptop and where all the usb connections are has also lifted when I dropped my laptop once. I can still connect things on that side but it is just lifted. Does anyone know about how much it would cost to fix this? I need to fix my laptop before I leave to college next month. The link to the pictures of my laptop is below:

Hi there, ssuazo7,
I am not a repair technician by any means; however, based on what I see from the pictures you’ve provided, it looks like your computer may be beyond economical repair – meaning it might be more cost efficient to purchase a new one. I could admittedly be very wrong, but the spot where the USB ports are lifted looks pretty precarious in my mind.
The good news is though that you can certainly bring the laptop into your local Geek Squad precinct inside a Best Buy store. If you have a Geek Squad Protection plan with Accidental Damage from Handling (GSP-ADH), the repair costs may be covered. Otherwise, we can ship out your computer to our service center in Louisville, KY (shipping costs would need to be paid – it’s typically around $34.95) to get an estimate from there.
I hope this helps, but please don’t hesitate to let me know if you have any other questions.
Thanks for posting,
