NS-P11A8100 won't shut off

It just boots to the Insignia sign on page and then eventually goes blankperiod I've tried holding down the button to turn it off and it is not successful.

Based on what you've described, it is likely your tablet will require repairs. You can schedule an appointment with your local Geek Squad by visiting We're Here to Help and selecting "Make a Reservation" under "Getting Help is Easy."
