I hooked up my Insignia tv NS-24D31ONA17 to my pc using HDMI to DVI cable and it is not receiving a signal. I checked input to see if correct HDMI was selected and it is. When I purchased the tv I was told it would work as long as Iong as I bought the HDMI/DVI cable. So why am I not getting signal? Thank you for your time, Gypsy

Your TV will display the signal it receives from your computer. Given what you describe, you will likely need to adjust the video settings of your PC to output a signal compatible with your TV. If you need assistance with this process, I recommend contacting your computer manufacturer.
