Model: NS-P11A8100

I cannot get Model: NS-P11A8100 to output through usb C to hdmi wired, the adapter works with other usb c devices. I do not want wireless which does work..  All other devices instantly connect to the tv. What am Iis missing???

What kind of adapter are you using? Do you have the model number for it? You may need a specialized driver or application downloaded to be able to use that adapter with your tablet. I look forward to your reply to see how we might be able to assist you further.

I have tried the following adapters, they work on other devices but not this tablet.

I have never heard that Android requires a driver.

 

I thought the idea behind usb c was to avoid having a separate hdmi socket. I am disappointed.

 

Please let me know if this device truly supports hdmi through usb,,,,or is usb only for charging.  Can you experiment there to try one out???This makes no sense. Thanks

I’m in the process of having our support teams double check if the USB C port can be used in this way, and if it can why the adapters you’ve tried aren’t working. Our support team was able to share that your USB-C port on your Insignia NS-P11A8100 tablet is only intended for data transfer, and not meant to be used as a display port. I apologize for any inconvenience that limitation may be causing you.

Wow,,,,this is really a big disappointment. After spending endless hours trying different combos etc. This should have been DISCLOSED in the specifications. USB-C is supposed to cover this and many other functions.  It is past the return period. Please issue me a gift card for my time, aggravation and deception. Thanks
