I have an hp pavilion dv7-1245dx laptop for a few years.  I am having the problem now of the internet not responding so i have to restart my laptop two to three times a day to get it up and working,  I am wondering if the wifi card is going in the laptop or if it is a different issue all together.

An indication of the internet not working would be in your system tray, a faulty internet connection will display a yellow triangle with an exclamation point and that indicates network issues, not faulty hardware. Have you done some troubleshooting to your wireless router and or hardware itself?

I switched to uverse internet now and it still goes not responding but only for less then a minuate now.  I am problay going to take it and see if the wifi card could be going bad  or not.

Well still have a problem a few times a day of not responding but i am not having to restart my laptop.  It happend eailer today twice but it lasted less then 30 seconds each time.  So i am not sure if i am going to get my laptop looked at or not yet.  Hopefully this will quit happening and i won't have to get it checked out.

Try to connect your laptop with other wireless network, if its working properly, the problem is with your wireless network.

It still does it every once in a while and the internet is connected cause it does go though wifi signal but it still go not responding sometimes during the day,.

Sounds like a possible leasing and or pooling issue. At work can explain more later

After reading all about your problems, I think the fault in your wifi card.

So then do i have to get the card in replaced?
