Insignia NS-P11W7100 Battery / Power monitoring in system tray unavailable

My system icon setting for power is grayed out with no option to toggle it, see the picture:

 As such I cannot see my charge level, or if I'm charging.


Solutions I've attempted with now results:

Uninstlaling and disabling the battery in device manager and re-enabling them.

Factory Reset.

I've downloaded the driver package from the no Wifi thread but it said my battery was already on the best version.

I even did some registry deleting per an article I found on google.

Lots of rebooting.


I did notice that most google results for this problem they mention two battery devices "Microsoft AC Adapter" and "Microsoft ACPI-Compliant Control Method Battery" while Insignia NS-P11W7100 only has one.


ONly one battery device


I would really like to know my battery level and if I'm even charging. I have a feeling this is due to missing the "Microsoft ACPI-Compliant Control Method Battery" device, but really have no diea.
