I'm confused

I finally decided what computer I will be getting. An Hp pavilion (the computer originally recommended to me. But now I see there are 2 versions of it. An i5 and an AMD
This is the comparison my recommended specs for sims 4 are still the same. Which computer would be better for me and what the difference between Intel and AMD anyways. (The computer is used for schoolwork, random task and sims 4)

OS: 64 Bit Windows 7,8, or 8.1
PROCESSOR: Intel Core i5 or faster or AMD Athlon X4
MEMORY: 4GB RAM
HARD DRIVE: At least 9 GB of free space with at least 1 GB additional space for custom content and saved games
DVD-ROM: DVD ROM drive required for installation only
VIDEO CARD: NVIDIA GTX 650 or better
SOUND CARD: DirectX 9.0c Compatible
DIRECTX: DirectX 9.0c compatible

Hey Bubblegum –

 

I looked up some quick benchmarks and the i5 system has marginally faster graphics and processing, so I’d recommend going with the Intel machine since graphics performance is important to you. Let us know if you have any other questions.

Hi bubblegum,

I would also agree with Michael on this one! If you are more concerned about performance then the intel is probsbly the best choice. If it had been a FX AMD it my had been a different story.
