CyberPowerPC- Desktop

I just purchased a CyberPowerPC - Desktop - Intel Core i7 - 16GB Memory - NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 Ti - 240GB Solid State Drive - 3TB Hard Drive gaming computer and even though I haven't had it long I can tell it is the best pc I have ever owned by far not only performance wise but style and appearance surpass all the rest. It was well worth the cost.

I haven't started buying games yet man.  I've only had it a little over a week and I'm new to gamming but I've been multi tasking and streaming 4K content as I downlod apps and it doesn't skip a beat.

Re: CyberPowerPC- Desktop

I don't know about others but I don't work for Best Buy and I'm not a tech.  I'm just an average joe who enjoys computers with my first gamming pc who is impressed. Hell, I haven't tried gamming yet but hands down I'm impressed with the way I can do my Windows 10 applications from taking care of business while streaming 4K, or downloading apps as I am still building up my capabilites.  I am using a wireless connection with ExpressVPN and my speed has not dropped so color me impressed. I'm hoping to move on to my first gamming experience soon any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Re: CyberPowerPC- Desktop

Lots of games out there to choose from.  Each person will have certain types of games they like and types they are not so crazy about.

One thing to educate you about however that kind of confused me for awhile.  Many modern games now operate through a game client.  The game client manages your software and its most important function (at least for the developer) is to prevent multiple people from playing the same copy of a game. STEAM is the most common client, Uplay, GOG etc are otthers.

The clients also contain a store where you can buy many old games that they have managed.

One word of caution. If you buy a game that is 5 or more years old you need to keep in mind that the graphics capability then was not nearly what it is now so games were not made to support what your machine is capable of.

The games recommended above are good recommendations and I have played most of them.

I would add to the list.  Keeping in mind the older the game the lower the grapics, but still are a lot of fun.

Assassins Creed (there are qutie a few in the series but I would not go further back than AC II)

Far Cry (start with Far Cry 3)

Wolfenstein,

Daiblo III

One of my favorite types of games is teh MMORPG.  Massivly Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game. If you have ever played a game with books and dice or card games like Magic these are along that line.  You and thousands of others all interact in the same setting.  it is live action. very popular games are World of Warcraft, Guild Wars 2. Even though these are older they are constantly being updated and made fresh and new
