I just purchased a HP wireless printer to go with my Toshiba Satellite laptop. I used the wizard to set up the laptop with a simple SSID and WEP key. I rebooted just in case. I then went into the printer set up and it said it couldn't locate the SSID. Not sure what is wrong here. I double checked the SSID and WEP and know they are the same. They are all in lower case. Could the Ad Hoc be in 'Disabled' mode? Will I need to go into the network window to check a special box? The instructions that came with the printer didn't go into too much detail so I am wondering if there is something else that needs to be set. Has anyone else been here before? Thanks for any help here....The OS is windows XP.
