i have a toshiba satellite A105-s2194system unit (windows xp)

when i turn the laptop on, show me a message that said that this file is missing or corrupted:

WINDOWS/SYSTEM32/CONFIG/SYSTEM

i just want to know how to save my hard drive?

if i place the disc it will format the hard drive.....

You might have to take it into the store, they can remove the hard drive, and hook it up to another computer to transfer the data off of the hard drive.
