i want to upgrade my processor. what one would be the best one for me to purchase? my bios is A-07

That's an fairly old system, which honestly isn't worth upgrading.

You'd probably be better off looking at upgrading your RAM.

Can you post the full model number please? Or click the Start button, then Run. Type in : dxdiag

i have windows 7 - 64bit

bios A-07

pentium duo core 2.8ghz processor

4 gb ram.

i am not on the dell right now i would have to check all of the rest tomarrow!.
