network problem

I bought a new Toshiba laptop at the Bangor, Me store on Feb 20. All has been great. I am a facebook user and suddenly when I try to view my videos on f-book it says I need to install adobe flash. It gives me the button to do so. I click it and nothing happens, I have installed, restarted, uninstalled and on and on. It says nothing is wrong when I run utilities. Any suggestions???

Re: network problem

Wild guesses....

  • make you have nothing else running in the background.  There may be a dialog hidden behind your applications waiting for permission to install the flash
  • are you running as an administrator?

Yes as administator. Would Norton effect this?

Re: network problem

No, Norton would not affect it.  Are you running some sort of pop-up blocker or other third party filter?  What web browser are you using?
